📚 Native American Book Club – June Update! 📚
June is here, and that means it’s time for a new Book of the Month—and another chance to read and connect together. This month, we’re diving into Bad Cree by Jessica Johns. It’s a gripping and eerie novel that blends dreams, memory, and Cree tradition into a haunting story of grief and survival. If you love stories that keep you thinking long after you’ve turned the last page, this one’s for you. Come join us in the Native American Book Club Facebook Group—we’re sharing thoughts, asking...

This week I’m heading out to Boise for the Craft+Commerce conference. I’m excited to learn from some of the top content creators and connect with folks doing amazing things online. One of the highlights for me will be hearing Pat Flynn speak. If you’re not familiar, Pat’s been a go-to resource for online entrepreneurs for years. He’s known for Smart Passive Income and has helped thousands of people grow businesses that work for their lives, not the other way around. And my friend Liz Wilcox...

June is here and Pow Wow season is in full swing! I’m home for another week or so before heading out to Boise for a conference. While I’ve been home, I’ve been enjoying a little downtime and playing with something new 🐦 I’ve been using the Merlin Bird ID app and it’s been a blast. It can identify birds just by sound and I’ve already spotted way more than I expected right here in my neighborhood. I can’t wait to try it out on the road this summer! 👉 Check out my post about it here This weekend...

Hello Travelers! June’s off to a productive start! I’ve been enjoying some much-needed time at home, caught up on a few projects, did a bit of decluttering (finally took a couple of loads to Goodwill), and started getting ready for what’s coming next. I head to Boise, Idaho on Wednesday for a conference. Never been, so I’m looking forward to checking out a new place. Then it’s a quick turnaround before we’re off on a cruise… and we're really excited about this one. Brooke is joining us for...

🌊 We spent Memorial Day weekend at the beach with friends, the perfect mix of sunshine, good food, and time to recharge. Now we’re back home for a couple of weeks before the next round of travel kicks in. In June, I’ll be heading to Boise for a conference. It’ll be my first time in Idaho, so if you’ve got any must-see spots or food recs, hit reply and let me know! 📉 While we were on the South Carolina coast, I saw a news story saying it was the lowest number of tourists in Myrtle Beach for...

Hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend. We just got back from a relaxing trip to Pawleys Island, one of our favorite spots on the South Carolina coast. It was the perfect mix of downtime and good food. One of the highlights was dinner at Parsons Table in Little River. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend it. The setting is full of charm and history, and the food was honestly some of the best I’ve had in South Carolina. A great way to cap off the weekend. Now it’s time to get back at...
