Upcoming Pow Wows, Native Horror Sequel and more!

Reader This past weekend I was in Charlotte for the Empowered Podcasting Conference. There's something about being in a room full of people who are obsessed with the same medium you are — it reminded me all over again why I love podcasting and just how powerful it is for building real connection with an audience. If you've ever wondered why I keep coming back to the mic, that's it.

So here's a question for you: do you listen to podcasts?

If so, what are you into right now? I'm always hunting for new shows to add to my rotation, so hit reply and tell me your favorites. I read every one.

Speaking of podcasts, I've got two episodes for the Pow Wow Life show in the works with some great interviews, and there's more in the pipeline that I can't wait to share. Keep an eye out.

And while I'm teasing things: I'm hoping to make a fun announcement later this week about a big Thanksgiving Day event I might be a part of this year. Stay tuned for that one.

Today's newsletter is brought to you by Penguin Random House, who also sponsors our book club.

If you're into Indigenous horror, the sequel to Never Whistle at Night is finally here — Back for Blood: Never Whistle at Night Part II is out now. If you haven't read the first one yet, do yourself a favor and pick it up first; it's a genuinely great collection and I think you'll love it. And if you didn't know, we run a free book club you can join right here.

Thanks,

Paul G
