We had such a great time yesterday at the Weaving Unity MMIW Powwow right here in Lexington, South Carolina, and the best part was it was only about 10 minutes from the house.
It was so good to reconnect with friends, spend the afternoon at a powwow, and hear some great singing from Warpaint.
Our next powwow trip will be the Catawba Powwow in Rock Hill, South Carolina, which is only about two hours away, so that is not too bad either.
Before that though, don’t miss this weekend. We’ll be live streaming from the Last Bear Moon Powwow all weekend long, so come watch and join us live at powwows.com/live.
For a while, we offered the Pow Wow Calendar eBook as a free resource. I have not published it in several months because the time, effort, and cost to produce it became too much to keep doing for free.
But I know many of you loved having it, so I’m bringing it back as a low-cost subscription.
You can choose a monthly option or pay for the full year. Each issue gives you the next 12 months of the powwow calendar in a downloadable eBook, with dates, links, and listings you can keep right on your phone, tablet, or laptop.
And for today, you can get 25% off when you click below.

So come post a photo of your latest project (or what you’re working on right now), tell us about it, and then take a look around and show some love to what everyone else is making too. I can’t wait to see what y’all have been working on.
