Back from Cleveland and what a weekend it was!
The CEX conference was incredible, I made some great connections, loved speaking, and I’m happy to report my talk went really well. We even squeezed in a Cleveland Browns game. The crowd was buzzing about Sedeur Sanders, but it wasn’t his best outing after getting sacked five times. Still, the energy in the stadium was something to see.
Last weekend we were live from Schemitzun, if you missed it, you can watch the full stream here: Schemitzun 2025 Replay.
This weekend we’ll be bringing you the Nakoda Classic Pow Wow from Goodstoney Arena in Mini Thni, August 29–31. Don’t miss it!
I’m still processing the news that the Gathering of Nations will hold its final pow wow next April. This will be the last dance, a celebration of 43 incredible years. If it’s on your bucket list, now is the time to make your plans: Gathering of Nations Info.
And don’t forget, our monthly giveaway ends in just a few days! Spin the wheel and enter here: www.powwows.com/win.
If you’re new to pow wows and want to learn more about dance styles, history, and etiquette, I’ve put together a free email series just for you.
