Sweetheart Special Contest Video, Upcoming Pow Wows, Win a Pendleton and more!

The temperatures are finally starting to drop here in South Carolina, and apparently so is our football team. I had such high hopes for my Gamecocks this year, but… well, you know how that story goes. How’s your team doing this season?

This weekend, Kelli and I are off to New Hampshire for the first time. I’ll be at a conference, and we’re both excited to explore a new state, check out the local shops, and enjoy some fresh fall air.

Did you catch any of our live stream from San Manuel last weekend? Their annual Sweetheart Special is always one of the highlights, such a fun event to watch.

And coming up next, we’ve got live coverage from the Morongo Pow Wow! This one is a favorite of mine. Mike, Ryan, and their families are heading out to California to bring you the stream, and I’ll be right there with you online, watching from the conference.

Your hotel phone rings at 11:30 PM with nature's most spectacular announcement. In Iceland, some hotels offer a service that transforms midnight disruptions into once-in-a-lifetime experiences. A small black button on your room phone connects you to one of hospitality's most extraordinary wake-up calls.

Staff members monitor Iceland's unpredictable skies throughout the night, ready to alert sleeping guests when the northern lights dance across the darkness. Hotels take this service seriously if you miss the initial phone call, staff will knock on your door to ensure you don't sleep through the show.
