Summer Travel Update + The Best Way to Share Your Photos - Travel Thursday

Hello Travelers!

June’s off to a productive start! I’ve been enjoying some much-needed time at home, caught up on a few projects, did a bit of decluttering (finally took a couple of loads to Goodwill), and started getting ready for what’s coming next.

I head to Boise, Idaho on Wednesday for a conference. Never been, so I’m looking forward to checking out a new place. Then it’s a quick turnaround before we’re off on a cruise… and we're really excited about this one. Brooke is joining us for the first time in a couple of years, and one of her friends is working on the ship. Should be a fun one!

Also, I’ve got a new favorite app—Merlin. It identifies birds by sound and keeps track of which ones you’ve found. I’m up to 70 so far. It’s been a blast using it around the neighborhood and on the disc golf course. Can’t wait to try it out in some new cities.

And if you missed it, I posted a throwback to our Alaska cruise last summer. Still one of our favorite trips ever.

Last week’s poll about summer travel was interesting. I expected more people to be hitting the road, but it was pretty evenly split between traveling more, traveling less, and staying home. With all the news about folks cutting back this summer, it lines up—about two-thirds of you said you’re either staying home or dialing back travel plans.

What about you—any changes to your summer travel plans this year?

Thanks,

Paul & Kelli

New! Disney Magic Wallpapers for Your Phone

Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to visit Disney more times than I can count. Along the way, I’ve captured some of my favorite moments—the glow of Cinderella Castle at sunset, the sparkle of Spaceship Earth at night, the excitement of fireworks lighting up Main Street.

Now, I’m sharing those moments with you. I’ve put together a collection of wallpapers featuring my own photography from years of Disney adventures. If Disney feels like a second home to you like it does for me, I hope these bring a little extra magic to your everyday life.

✈️ Travel Tip of the Week

Pack a “cool down” kit for summer trips.
Whether you're exploring theme parks, hiking trails, or walking through a new city, summer heat can sneak up on you. Toss a few small items in your day bag to stay comfortable: a mini fan, cooling towel, electrolyte drink mix, sunscreen, and a refillable water bottle. Bonus points for a portable umbrella or hat for shade.

Staying cool means you can keep going longer—and actually enjoy the adventure.

🚗 Travel Accessory of the Week:

This one’s not for your suitcase—but it’s perfect for sharing your favorite travel memories once you're back home.

We’ve fallen in love with this digital photo frame that lets you send pictures straight to it, no matter where you are. It’s a great way to keep your family updated with your latest adventures.

We’ve gifted one to both our moms, and it’s been a hit. Kelli’s mom even gets photos from her sister too—because multiple people can send to the same frame.

I’ve even got one on my desk. It’s a daily reminder of some amazing trips.
