This annual celebration takes place at the Mashantucket Pequot Cultural Grounds, one of America’s oldest Indian reservations. Schemitzun is a time to give thanks for the harvest season, honor our ancestors, warriors, veterans, and Elders, and celebrate the rich heritage of the Pequot people.
