This past weekend, we had the honor of streaming the Catawba Pow Wow, and it was amazing to see this event return after more than 10 years. A huge thank you to everyone who tuned in and supported the pow wow—it was great to be part of such a special moment!
Unfortunately, during the event, I started feeling pretty bad and ended up coming home sick. I usually get this email out on Monday, but I’ve been stuck in bed recovering. Normally, even when I’m under the weather, I can push through and get a few things done, but this time? I didn’t even hook my computer back up from Catawba until this morning! Thankfully, I’m finally starting to feel normal again.
Now that I’m back in action, here’s what you don’t want to miss:

In 1998, Choctaw mother & daughter, Jean and Carissa started selling their bath and body products at their local farmers' market. Since Carissa was a teen she has made bath and body products. Following in her grandmother's footsteps she began making soap. Later soy candles were added to their repertoire.
Ingredients are important to 3Ps in a POD. Utmost care is taken in choosing what goes in their products. The soaps are made with organic base oils, herbs and botanicals and scented with essential oils or high quality fragrance oils. Native American scents include Smudge Stick, Prairie Sky, Sweetgrass, Smoke Signals and Lavender Sun. All products are phthalate-free and paraben-free.
Candles use clean burning soy wax with lead-free cotton wicks. Scents are blended in unique ways to not only smell fantastic but to create an experience. The Native American candles offer a story with each scent; either a traditional story, a memory or a way of Native life.
