When I travel for PowWows.com, I love when I am able to see some of the local Native culture highlighted like Bird Singing in California or Smoke Dancing in New York state. The Choctaw pride shows through in their cultural center, and even more with this special one day event. The event was a perfect blend of education, entertainment, and cultural celebration, and it was inspiring to see how the Choctaw people honor their traditions while sharing them with the broader public.
